Client:
BRASS TACKS PHOTOGRAPHY
Brass Tacks Photography is my own photography business. In the beginning, I thought of Brass Tacks as a hobby and I had very basic branding to support it. Eventually, my work had grown and evolved I felt it that the basic branding no longer represented the work I was creating. In 2016 I decided to become an LLC. took this opportunity to relaunch my photography business with a new website and branding. With the help of my friend & designer, Maggie Antalek, we designed a new logo and I independently designed a new website format to showcase my business.

Challenge
Incorporating my former branding - Brass Tacks Photography - in an elegant way that caters to the target demographic of clients with budget ranging $3,000 - $5,000 and expectations for professional services from appearance to deliverables.
Solution
Logo
I wanted to keep my original company name - Brass Tacks Photography - but update this logo to reflect what I strive for my work to be, timeless and elegant. I also wanted to incorporate a tack within the logo without calling too much attention to it.
Web Design
The web design centered around the logo. I strove for clean pages with clear messaging for my future clients. It is really hard to differentiate yourself from other photographers in the industry, utilizing parallax photo strips brings an exciting element to the portfolio and service pages.
